GRUP MEDIAPRO Produces the International Broadcast Feed for the MLB Mexico City Series 2023

Mediapro México produced the international broadcast feed for ESPN Mexico of the MLB Mexico City Series. The San Diego Padres best the San Francisco Giants in the two-game series, which took place in the Alfredo Harp Helú Stadium In Mexico City over the Kid’s National Holiday weekend.

A 42-strong team of GRUP MEDIAPRO staff was responsible for the broadcast of the event across Mexico and Central America via ESPN. An OB van with 15 cameras and a full on-site production facility provided the broadcast feed via the UpLink C band directly to the EPSN distribution centre. The production featured high-quality broadcast images with MLB in the USA quality camera direction. Feedback from ESPN and the Major League Baseball (MLB) was very positive.

The Mexico City Series is part of the MLB initiative to bring international matches to big markets.
