Perifery will highlight a new on-premises solution with Seagate Technology that allows media companies to scale out object storage. Integration between Perifery Swarm and Seagate Exos CORVAULT provides media companies with erasure coding within a node, encryption at rest (without putting CPU load on the software servers), and self-healing hard drives that can avoid performing system-level data regeneration tasks. The joint solution improves performance, dramatically lowers CPU requirements, reduces costs, and improves the end-user experience.
