Conference USA Expands Use of WSC Sports to Men’s Women’s Hoops

Conference USA has expanded its partnership with WSC Sports, the global leader in AI-powered video content, for the 2023-24 season to enhance the league’s social and digital presence. In addition to the football component, CUSA will now also utilize WSC Sports across men’s and women’s basketball for the upcoming athletic year.

Conference USA is expanding its use of WSC Sports technology.

WSC Sports’ automated AI-powered platform provides immediate access to highlights from the league’s games, and generates individual plays, quarter, halftime, full-game and highlights, as well as individual player cuts and more. This footage is then seamlessly distributed across CUSA social and digital platforms in real-time.

“Enhancing Conference USA’s partnership with WSC Sports continues to help the league and our institutions increase our reach across our digital and social channels,” says CUSA Assistant Commissioner for Video Services and Technology Chris Grey. “We saw so much success and growth with football in 2022 that we knew we needed to bring men’s and women’s basketball into the fold to grow our digital footprint.”

“The expansion of this partnership to now cover CUSA men’s and women’s basketball is a testament to the success of the engaging content CUSA generated throughout the 2022 football season utilizing WSC Sports’ technology,” adds Joe DaCosta, Business Development Executive at WSC Sports. “As more CUSA student athletes will now have the ability to increase their reach and content across digital and social channels, CUSA fans will enjoy deeper engagement with their favorite athletes and teams.”
