Elon Sports Vision Celebrates National Girls & Women in Sports Day With All-Female Crew

On Sunday, Feb. 4, Elon University’s Women’s Basketball hosted Campbell University at the Schar Center. In honor of National Girls & Women in Sports Day (NGWSD), the entire crew of Elon Sports Vision, from on-air talent to those behind the bench, were comprised entirely of women.
Formally celebrated this year on Feb. 7, the idea of putting together an all-female crew for NGWSD comes from Fox Sports’ annual initiative and was brought to Elon by Claire Geary when she arrived last summer as the program’s coordinating producer. In total, 16 females held on-air and production roles during the Elon-Campbell broadcast.
In addition to Geary, the crew included:

- Ellie Reasbeck – Bug operator
- Mia Zebley – Font operator
- Ilana Boyer – Utility
- Abby Waeltz – Utility
