NBA All-Star 2024: NBA TV’s Coverage To Include Live and Original Programming From Indy

NBA TV will be the destination for extensive coverage of NBA All-Star 2024, with live and original programming starting Friday, Feb. 16. Wall-to-wall live programming from Indianapolis will include All-Star practices and media availabilities throughout the weekend, plus the latest news and analysis from a premier roster of commentators via the network’s signature studio show, NBA GameTime.

With the 73rd NBA All-Star Game taking place in Indianapolis, NBA TV will air a new special – Indiana Glory – on Sunday, Feb. 18, at 4 p.m. ET.The hour-long roundtable conversation featuring Hoosier State legends Reggie Miller, Larry Bird and Isiah Thomas celebrates what makes basketball in the state of Indiana so special and relives some of the top moments from the three NBA 75th Anniversary Team members’ careers.

Highlights from Indiana Glory include Bird discussing his experience at Indiana and what led him to Indiana State, Miller’s experience playing under Bird and Thomas when they were head coaches of the Indiana Pacers, Bird’s famous 1988 three-point contest exclamation, “who’s coming in second,” and which of today’s players they enjoy watching the most.

The NBA HBCU Classic presented by AT&T will tip off on Saturday, Feb. 17 with a matchup between the Virginia Union University and Winston-Salem State University men’s basketball teams. Simulcast coverage on NBA TV, TNT, ESPN2 and Max’s B/R Sports Add-On will begin at 2 p.m.with Brian Custer (play-by-play), Grant Hill (analyst) and Chris Haynes (reporter) calling the action. Derryl Barnes, a senior at the University of Miami, will be a special contributor as part of TNT Sports’ Oscar Pope Lift Every Voice Fellowship.

Studio Shows

NBA TV’s signature studio show, NBA GameTime, will be live from Indianapolis to provide the latest news and leading storylines daily throughout NBA All-Star 2024. On-site studio coverage will tip off Friday, Feb. 16 at 6 p.m. and 11:30 p.m., followed by Saturday, Feb. 17, at 10:30 p.m. The network’s coverage will feature Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Famers and analysts Grant Hill and Thomas. Hosts and reporters will includeMatt Winer and Jared Greenberg.

Studio programming will continue with NBABet All-Star Sunday leading up to the game at 5 p.m. Adam Lefkoe will host alongside Vince Goodwill, Tim Doyle and Sean Little.

Rising Stars Practice

NBA TV will have complete coverage of Friday’s 2024 Panini Rising Stars practice from 11:30-1 p.m., with commentary from Candace Parker, Jamal Crawford, Chris Haynes and Lefkoe.

2023 Kia NBA Rookie of the Year Paolo Banchero and fellow sophomore Jalen Williams, along with leading rookies Victor Wembanyama and Chet Holmgren will be joined by young stars from the NBA G League. For the second year there will be four teams, led by legends Pau Gasol,Tamika Catchings, Jalen Rose and Detlef Schrempf.

Hall of Fame Finalists Revealed

The network will have live coverage of the Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame Class of 2024 Finalists Announcement — with host Winer — Friday, Feb. 16, at 5:30 p.m.

NBA All-Star Saturday

The network’s live programming from Indianapolis will include exclusive NBA All-Star Practice presented by AT&T coverage on Saturday, Feb. 17, at 11 a.m. Leading up to Saturday night’s festivities, the network will present commissioner Adam Silver’s media availability live at 7 p.m.

Inside the NBA on Sunday

After TNT’s coverage of the 73rd NBA All-Star Game presented by Kia culminates on Sunday, Feb. 18, fans can tune into NBA TV for a special edition of Inside the NBA presented by Kia featuring Charles Barkley, O’Neal, Kenny Smith and hosted by Ernie Johnson.

Legends Brunch

NBA TV will also provide coverage of this year’s Legends Brunch on Sunday, Feb. 18, at 11:30 a.m.
