Inside NEP’s SS10: TSL Audio Monitoring Supports the Newest IP Mobile Unit

NEP releases an inside look at SS10, its newest fully IP broadcast mobile unit designed and built by NEP’s systems integration team.

After delivering the Ryder Cup global production, SS10 is now supporting NBA coverage on NBC and remains flexible enough to scale down for smaller shows.

The tour highlights how TSL Audio Monitoring plays a key role across the truck’s IP and UHD infrastructure. SS10 deploys MPA1-MIX-NET-V units across production, vision, audio, and replay. These compact 1RU monitors support ST 2110-30/AES67 and give operators fast hear, select, and identify control of sources when working in high-pressure sports environments.

For engineering oversight, SS10 uses two PAM2-IP-12G units, providing the ability to measure with detailed metering, 12G-SDI, and full ST 2110 capability. By combining operator-focused MPA1 units with engineer-grade PAM2 tools, SS10 ensures dependable audio monitoring across complex IP productions of any scale.
