Shenzhen Beacon Infuses Matrox Features Into New High-Density Medical Multiviewer

Shenzhen Beacon Display Technology has incorporated Matrox core technologies to help power its new multiviewer. Built to help complement Beacon’s endoscopy and digital subtraction angiography (DSA) display product line, the high-density multiviewer offers up to 20 available video input channels, with support for up to eight simultaneous inputs across a 4K (4096×2160 or 3840×2160) surgical display.

Launched at the recent 2020 China International Medical Equipment Fair (CMEF), the MVM multiviewer allows users to create more than 32 customized layouts, as well as duplicate, scale, and crop channels with extremely low input-to-output latency depending on the application. Moreover, it offers users to control up to eight source devices via KVM connection, and provides both local and web GUI options for a high degree of flexibility. Beacon’s solution helps to facilitate collaboration and enhance decision-making in the operation room.
