Ed Goren, Neal Pilson, Lee Berke Join Advisory Board of Crowd Sports

Distinguished television sports executives Ed Goren, Neal Pilson, and Lee Berke have joined the Advisory Board of Crowd Sports.

Ed Goren

“The patented games we are developing are the perfect complement to major televised sports,” says John Leekley Co-Founder & CEO of Crowd Sports. “And having these three distinguished executives validate what we’re doing is a huge vote of confidence in our business.”

Crowd Sports’ patent provides for the exclusive architecture that enables players to watch a game on TV or in the arena and play along competing against their friends, the crowd, form their own leagues or in conjunction with team’s apps play against others at the game.

“This will be a big plus for both viewers and TV,” says Goren, former Fox Sports Vice Chairman and Executive Producer. “Players using the app will be

actively involved with the play by play while watching the game making this the best 2nd screen application I’ve ever seen.”

“I agree,” says Pilson, former CBS Sports President. “These games will keep viewer committed to the telecast as they see if their choices are correct. We’re all armchair QBs and now we can measure ourselves against the actual game.”

Lee Berke

“This isn’t fantasy, but competition based on the actual game in real time,” says Berke, noted TV sports rights expert and President of LHB Sports. “Even better is that it will keep viewers watching no matter the score of the game.”

Players using Crowd Sports games will predict outcomes in a variety of ways. For football they will choose their team and then be able to predict the outcome of drives and individual plays scoring points when correct and losing when they haven’t chosen wisely. Other sports will have similar options to choose like picking where their favorite driver will be at certain laps in an auto race or potential outcomes of power plays in hockey.

“Crowd Sports patented architecture enables a whole new level of play for fans at home or at the game,” says Co-Founder and EVP David Berman. “Players can invite their friends to play against them or team apps in arenas and stadiums can create competitions between different seating sections to win prizes from concessions, jerseys, and other items.”
