Canon USA Extends Partnership With Little League World Series

Canon U.S.A. has announced a three-year extension of its partnership with Little League International. With the extension, Canon will continue to serve as the Official Camera and Official Printer of Little League Baseball and Softball, the world’s largest youth sports program. In the past three years, the partnership has allowed baseball and softball fans from around the world to utilize Canon PIXMA printers, along with EOS and PowerShot cameras, to share encouraging photos and messages to Little League Baseball players which are printed and displayed throughout the Little League Baseball Regional Tournaments and Little League Baseball World Series each year.

Sponsorship support also helps to offset tournament travel expenses for local leagues. Through onsite activations and digital promotions, Canon enhances the fan experience through the entire Little League Baseball season and at the Little League Baseball World Series in Williamsport, PA.

“It was an easy decision for Canon to continue its relationship with Little League Baseball after three successful years,” says Yuichi Ishizuka, president and COO, Canon U.S.A., Inc. “We look forward to continuing to support Little League International and introducing fans from around the globe to the power of preserving Little League memories through images captured with Canon cameras and printed with Canon Products.”

This year, Canon encouraged fans around the world to make the season last a lifetime by submitting some of their favorite photo moments to the Canon Little League Photo Contest. By submitting photos, fans were given the chance to win one of three trips to the Little League World Series in South Williamsport, PA to see their photos on display in the World of Little League Museum in the Richard “Hank” Bauer, Jr. Little League Photography Exhibit in the World Series Gallery presented by Easton Foundations.

“We are excited Canon has renewed its partnership with Little League,” says Liz DiLullo Brown, Little League vice president of Marketing and Communications. “Little League is more than a youth sports organization, it is a youth leadership organization, and thanks to the support of our national sponsors like Canon, Little League is able to provide parents a healthy, affordable recreational outlet for their children.”
