CTG Appoints Dick Perin as New Design Engineer

Comprehensive Technical Group, a media & entertainment systems integrator, audio visual solutions and IT managed services company, has appointed Dick Perin as its new Design Engineer.

ctgnewPerin joins CTG from The WH Platts Company where he served as Design Engineer and managed system designs and hardware interface designs.  Prior to working at The WH Platts Company, Perin worked at Turner Broadcasting.  There, he was responsible for designing state-of-the-art mobile units (HD and 3G), handling new equipment installation, and he worked on system designs as well as some equipment repair.

Commenting on the appointment Tim Sloan, Engineering Manager for CTG says, “ Dick brings high end broadcast and audio visual design skills along with skills in Crestron Programming, DSP, Room Tuning, and IT.  Throughout his career, he’s received various awards and honors in the areas of contribution, outstanding achievements and accomplishments.  In addition, Dick has served for the Society of Motion Picture & Television Engineers (SMPTE) as a Chair for the Atlanta section.  He is a member of the Audio Engineering Society (AES).

Perin added :  “I am enthused about joining the CTG team because of all the exciting projects that I will be a part of.  In addition, I’m looking forward to collaborating with all of the brilliant minds at CTG.  I see almost unlimited potential for growth of the company.  This is as a result of so many organizations that are not being able to afford our form of expertise as an in-house resource.  Also, the fact that the world is so deeply embedded in social and mass media, both of which are driven by video and audio.”
