Turner Sports has launched a new app called Catch Sports, that designed to serve as a “digital personal assistant” to help fans find what games are available to them and on what platforms.

The Catch Sports app allows the user to identify the channel affiliations and service provider information where they can watch or listen to their favorite teams and individual games of interest across television, mobile, desktop, radio and social platforms. It also provides real-time scores and can be customized to include “excitement alerts” that inform the user of big moments currently happening.

The service is available as an app in the iTunes app store and Google Play and can be added as a “skill” to the Amazon Echo. through a Catch Sports Alexa Skill for the Amazon Echo, the product covers a wide array of sports content including in-season sports such as NBA, NFL, college football and college basketball.

“Catch Sports is an innovative product that serves an unmet need of today’s sports fan,” Lenny Daniels, President of Turner Sports, said in an official release.  “As more options become available for fans to consume live sports content, this new product offering will help navigate them to the best experience possible at any moment.  We’re excited for the launch of Catch Sports and the opportunity it provides us to build a deeper connection with our fans.”
