Its innovative technology in heat dissipation delivers energy savings and enhances product performance while reducing energy consumption and environmental impact, underscoring SiliconCore’s commitment to sustainability.

Anton/Bauer’s Salt-E Dog battery, receiving the Sustainable Product Award for a medium-size company, showcases pioneering sodium-based battery technology, which provides extended lifespans and outperforms lithium alternatives by up to 40%. With zero emissions and silent operation, Salt-E Dog marks a significant leap in sustainable production practices by the media industry.

Ross Video’s Ultrix Hyperconvergence Platform, honored with the Sustainable Product Award for a large company, is a groundbreaking server innovation enabling seamless upgrades for future broadcasting needs, minimizing waste, and promoting sustainability. The company’s commitment extends beyond product design, as evidenced by the integration of low-waste processes and initiatives to reduce single-use plastics within its operations, marking its dedication to environmental responsibility.

HBO’s True Detective: Night Country, winning the Green Production Practices Award, is testament to the company’s commitment to eco-friendly production initiatives. From energy management to water- and waste-management, as well as an Iceland location boasting 100%-renewable main power, the production highlights the company’s dedication to responsible filmmaking and positive social impact.

Irdeto received the Sustainable Leadership Award for its outstanding ESG report, which is supported by ISO certifications and EcoVadis recognition and underscores an unwavering dedication to sustainability. Through initiatives like its “Cloaked CA” program and proactive supplier engagement, coupled with renewable-energy use at its Netherlands headquarters and alignment with the UN Global Compact, the company sets an industry standard for environmental responsibility.

Vitec’s Philippe Wetzel, recognized with the Sustainable Champion Award, has spearheaded the company’s journey to sustainability leadership, implementing initiatives like Green-PEG and solar-panel installations while integrating eco-friendly practices into product design and logistics, significantly reducing the company’s carbon footprint. Wetzel’s collaborative efforts extend beyond Vitec, influencing industry-wide initiatives, showcasing more than a decade of unwavering commitment to green practices, and inspiring others to follow suit.

Prime Focus TechnologiesPrathamesh Tare was honored as the Emerging Talent in Sustainability for exceptional dedication in driving a culture of responsibility and accountability for the company’s ESG (environment, social, and governance) efforts. His innovative approaches and fresh perspectives, coupled with his ability to quantify the impact of ESG initiatives, position him as a rising star in the realm of sustainability, offering hope for a more eco-conscious future as he actively pursues opportunities to derive tangible value from the ESG agenda.

Harmonic received the Community and Social Impact Award. Among its international network, its initiatives focus on empowering community members, particularly women, to enter technical broadcasting fields through career and development programs and demonstrate a commitment to industry diversity and inclusion. Harmonic’s innovative initiatives have demonstrated how media can be a powerful tool for promoting social causes and driving meaningful impact, enriching the workforce and fostering a more equitable and innovative future for the broadcasting sector.
