MultiDyne Welcomes Robert Bush to Sales Force

In its ongoing campaign to provide broadcasters and production companies with the best in fiber transport equipment and support, MultiDyne Fiber Optic Solutions is pleased to announce that Robert (Bob) Bush has joined MultiDyne’s expert sales team. He will serve as Director of Sales, reporting to MultiDyne President Frank Jachetta.

“Bob Bush brings solid fiber optic field and sales experience to the MultiDyne team, at a time when broadcasters are accelerating the removal of copper in their broadcast plants,” says Frank Jachetta, President, MultiDyne. “He is the right person with the right know-how at the right time to join our growing global sales force.”

A former member of the U.S. Marine Corps and graduate of the Norfolk Naval Shipyard Apprenticeship Program for Electronics, Bob began his civilian career as a Bench Technician and Field Service Engineer with Leitch. He then became aField Service Engineer and Sales Engineer/Manager with Evertz, followed by a position as Chief Engineer – Broadcast for Monumental Sports & Entertainment at Verizon Center in Washington, DC. Bob subsequently became a consultant at Mason Technologies, and a freelance broadcast engineer at AARP HQ Studios in Washington, DC.

“I have worked extensively with fiber-optic technology throughout my career in broadcast and other industries, and have great familiarity with its uses and benefits for signal transport,” says Bush. “As the broadcast industry moves away from baseband over copper to fiber, as well as IP over fiber, I am well-equipped to harness my experience and expertise to serve MultiDyne’s diverse client base. And I am gratified to be joining the sales force of such a dynamic and responsive technology company, at a time when fiber is transforming the nature of broadcast production, playout, and program distribution.”

MultiDyne’s hiring of Mr. Bush comes at a critical juncture in its growth curve. With fiber and broadcast systems growing more complicated, a deeper engineering background becomes a necessity for any sales professional in the industry.

“Bob is exactly the kind of expert broadcasters need to help them identify and buy the most efficient, flexible, and cost-effective fiber optic products for their facilities,” says Jachetta. “Bob’s extensive experience first as a field support engineer, and then sales engineer, will give our clients a huge benefit across pre- and post-sales support.”
