Canon Launches New HD Video & Audio Capture Technology
Smarthouse reports on Canon, which has struggled in the camcorder market, is set to launch a brand-new Full-HD Codec that allows users to capture high-quality motion images and sound.
Aimed at the professional market, the new MPEG-2 FullHD (4:2:2) file-based recording codec delivers up to 50 Mbps data recording and twice the color data of the HDV profile format. And it uses MXF.
