Comcast adds 45th Scorebox system

Comcast Cable has purchased its 45th ScoreBox unit for its Manitowoc, Wisconsin location.
The ScoreBox is a graphic
unit that displays the clock, score and other information on the screen
for a sporting event. It allows the user to install their own graphics,
including sponsor logos.

The unit has the ability to connect to
a venues scoreboard to get the time and score data.
The
unit will be used for broadcasting High School and College events in
the area. This is the seventh unit Comcast has purchased, three
are in the Sacramento/ Bay Area and three are in the Atlanta area.

Additional recent purchases
went to WHAS-TV in Louisville, Kentucky and Northern Illinois University
in DeKalb, Illinois. LeSEA Broadcasting KWHB in Tulsa, Oklahoma
became another user; this is the second unit for LeSEA as KWHE in Honolulu,
Hawaii has one as well.
