TSN to broadcast Formula One Canadian Grand Prix

The
biggest names on the open wheel racing circuit return to

Montreal for the Formula One Canadian Grand
Prix at the Circuit Gilles Villeneuve. TSN will have all the live action
this weekend, beginning with qualifying on Saturday, June 9 at 1 p.m. ET and
the race on June 10 at 12:30 p.m. ET.

TSN’s
coverage also includes a 30-minute pre-race show on race day, hosted by Vic
Rauter from the TSN Studio, who will be joined by F1 analyst Gerald Donaldson
live from the track in

Montreal.
TSN correspondent Michael Whalen will file reports for SportsCentre
leading up to and following Sunday’s race.

The
pre-race show will feature a report on the McLaren-Mercedes team, made up of
two-time defending World Champion Fernando Alonso and rookie sensation Lewis
Hamilton. The two are tied for first in the Championship standings with
38 points heading into this weekend’s race in

Montreal.

Alonso,
the defending Canadian Grand Prix champion, is looking to capture his third
victory in 6 races this season.
