MLBP to publish 2007 All-Star Game program with team-specific covers

Major
League Baseball Properties (MLBP) will, for the first time, make available a
limited edition Official All-Star Game Program that features team-specific
covers. This year, in addition to the 2007 All-Star Game Program covers that
highlight the host Club San Francisco Giants, MLB Publishing will customize
front covers showcasing a star from each of the 30 Major League Clubs. The 2007
Official All-Star Game Program Limited Player Edition books are available for
purchase through Team Shops, MLB.com, the “Official Web site of Major
League Baseball,” and Modell’s Sporting Goods.

The limited editions of the 2007 Official All-Star Game Program are sure to become
exciting collector’s items by giving fans from all over a unique way to
remember the 78th Midsummer Classic. The Major League Baseball All-Star Game is
the largest sporting event of the summer and these customized programs
represent an innovative way of celebrating its magnitude in every Major League
market. The programs will be available while supplies last.

section highlighting the history of the State Farm Home Run Derby and a feature
on the best base runners in baseball. Contributing writers include George Will
(nationally syndicated columnist), Joe Posnanski (Kansas City Star
columnist)and National Baseball Writers Jayson Stark (ESPN.com), Jerry Crasnick
