RTÉ Brings Ross Video Technology to Emerald Isle

Ross Video technology was added to RTÉ’s studios in Dublin and Galway following an agreement between the company and Ireland’s national television and radio broadcaster.

Vision QMD/X multi-definition production switchers and OverDrive automated production control systems were installed as part of recent studio upgrades.

RTÉ Nuacht, located at TG4 in Galway, is using a Vision 4 and OverDrive for its Gaelic language news service, which went live on-air March 23.

RTÉ SOCR in Dublin installed a Vision 1 and OverDrive for producing short news bulletins and off-peak news programs, and it is expected to go live May 1.
