Norway’s NRK Chooses Utah Scientific Switcher

Norwegian national television broadcaster NRK is using a Utah Scientific UTAH-400 HD-routing switcher and four associated control panels to serve as the core of a stand-alone fly-away pack for broadcasting remote sporting events.

The network first used the system for its coverage of the IBU World Championships Biathlon in Peongchang, Korea, in February, and it plans to take the 64×64 frame HD router, which is loaded 32×32, to the 2010 Olympic Games in Vancouver, British Columbia.
