ESPN, Charter Bring WatchESPN to College Campuses

Partaking in the annual tradition of back to school, ESPN is teaming up with Charter’s “Major You” campus tour throughout the month of August to engage with college students on the latest products and services available to them throughout the school year.  Together, ESPN and Charter will showcase the many benefits of WatchESPN across four stops on the tour.  Students can stop by, experience, and interact with WatchESPN hands-on across a variety of platforms.

The schedule:

Date School
Tue, Aug 6 University of Georgia
Mon, Aug 12 University of Alabama
Mon, Aug 19 Texas Christian University
Thu, Aug 29 University of Wisconsin-Madison

In addition to featuring WatchESPN, Charter will host a sweepstakes, give away free prizes and offer great deals on-site at each stop.  Charter’s “Major You” campaign (www.MajorYou.com) targets customers of all types that embody the spirit of different TV genres and shows the breadth of content on Charter TV.

Fans that receive their video subscription from Charter are able to access ESPN, ESPN2, ESPNU, ESPN3 and ESPN Goal Line/Buzzer Beater live online at WatchESPN.com, on smartphones and tablets via the award-winning WatchESPN app, through ESPN on Xbox LIVE to Gold members and on Apple TV.  Additionally, ESPN3 is available at no cost to approximately 21 million U.S. college students and U.S.-based military personnel through on-campus and on-base network connections.
