Orad Graphics PowerWall Roadshow Impresses In Primeview NYC Showroom

On August 4-6, Primeview opened its doors of their  NYC showroom to Orad Graphics and their PowerWall TD Control System. Teaming up allowed Primeview and Orad to showcase the advantages of each their products both individually and more importantly how joining together they bring a solution. Designers, resellers and broadcasting engineers saw a detailed presentation of an all-encompassing broadcast solution.

New to the showroom the Primeview 84inch 4K monitor, model number PRV844KLED, played true 4K content wowing viewers with highest resolution, smooth and strikingly clear image and brilliant colors. To grasp the true benefits of 4K UHD resolution an 84inch LED monitor, in portrait mode, showed 1080P content. The image clarity is superb and eye pleasing, however, the 4K quality goes above and beyond in bringing the images to life.

The 84inch 4K monitor is part of Primeview’s 4K HDBaseT line that includes 55inch, 65inch, 98inch and coming soon 75inch. The market moving vast range of sizes allows PROAV integrators to up the ante of the design and deploy multiple sizes in landscape and portrait mode all with identical resolution and interface. Further, there are options for all budgetary price points. The HDBaseT component allows for content to be routed through all displays in the system over one Cat5e/6 cable. Should the monitors be deployed in a high bright environment, they can be customized for 1000-2000 NITS of brightness.

On Primeview’s broadcast quality video walls, Orad showed its HDVG+ control system that targets live television production application. The HDVG+ is a native 64-bit system which offers significant processing and rendering power enhancements in a 3 rack unit chassis. As a successor to Orad’s widely adopted HDVG platform, it provides high level rendering with a variety of video Input/ Output (I/O) options.

Taking advantage of the HDVG I/O board, it can introduce up to 12 live video feeds into the graphic scene in SD and up to 6 in HD as well as playback a wide range of video clips in different formats and resolutions. Additionally, it is equipped with an embedded downstream keyer, video delay and 16 channels of embedded audio support. The HDVG+ runs on the virus free Linux operating system and for redundancy offers hot swappable dual power supply, mechanical and software bypass as well as Raid protected storage.

Event goers were given a private demo of the solutions and their functionalities. The individualized
demos allowed for the presenters to cater to guests based on their different projects and requirement.
