Fox Sports Names Aimee Leone Senior Vice President of Talent

Fox Sports today announces it has named accomplished sports media executive Aimee Leone to the position of Senior Vice President of Talent. Leone will work out of Fox Sports’ Los Angeles offices and jointly reports to John Entz, Fox Sports Executive Producer and President of Production, and Jamie Horowitz, President, Fox Sports National Networks.

As Senior Vice President of Talent for Fox Sports, Leone focuses on recruiting, managing, and scheduling on-air personalities. She provides feedback and input on on-air assignments and is part of the ongoing evaluation of the FOX Sports team of talent.

“Aimee has an impeccable reputation, is a great person to work with and is extremely well-respected in the industry,” Entz says. “We have so many terrific on-air personalities now, it’s important we have a central point of contact to manage and communicate with them, and there is no one better to take on this role.”

Leone brings to Fox Sports a deep knowledge of the sports television industry and the talent management business. She spent more than two decades at NBC where she worked closely with former NBC Sports chairman Dick Ebersol and played a major part in the network’s expansion from a weekend sports division to a 24-hours-a-day, seven-days-a-week business with the launch of NBCSN. While at NBC, she won four Emmy Awards for her work on the Olympics.

More recently, Leone served as Vice President of the Broadcasting and Speakers Division at WME/IMG, where she handled talent representation in the company’s broadcast division and played a key role in the transition and merger of IMG and WME.

Leone is active within the Women’s Sports Foundation and the March of Dimes New York Division and its Annual Sports Luncheon.
