DiGiCo, Calrec Are Part of Acquisition of Pro-Audio Group Audiotonix

Purchase by French investment group Astorq is reported at $254 million

Audiotonix, the professional-audio group encompassing DiGiCo, Calrec, and Allen & Heath, has been acquired by French investor Astorg. According to Pro Sound News, the deal is worth approximately $254 million (£203 million).

Astorg purchased the group from the private-equity group Epiris, which was formerly known as Electra Partners.

“We are delighted to partner with Astorg, who have demonstrated an impressive understanding of our business and our core strengths,” Audiotonix CEO James Gordon said in an official release. “With their support, we aim to capitalize on our manufacturing capabilities, strengthen our worldwide development program, and enrich our product portfolio.”
