Grass Valley Appoints Jan-Pieter van Welsem, Tim Banks as Vice Presidents of Sales for the Americas, EMEA
Grass Valley, a Belden Brand, is leveraging the track record and industry expertise of two of its long-standing sales executives to increase its ability to serve customers in EMEA and the Americas. The company has appointed Jan-Pieter van Welsem to the position of vice president sales, Americas and Tim Banks to the role of vice president sales, EMEA. These appointments will help drive Grass Valley’s Number One market position, and continue its commitment to leading customers through the enormous, ever-evolving market.
van Welsem has held marketing and sales director roles at Grass Valley and Belden for the last 10 years and has a proven track record for delivering outstanding growth across key accounts. He has successfully helped customers implement strategic and operational transformations, enabling them to better position their business in today’s fast-changing media environment.
Over the last 18 years with SAM (now Grass Valley), Banks has been devising and implementing the company’s sales strategy,managing the regional sales teams, and leveraging channel relationships to drive continued growth. He will work closely with Grass Valley’s customers to help them transition to flexible infrastructures that best suit their business and operations goals.
