Monumental Sports Network Taps Sportradar for Enhanced Data Integration

Monumental Sports Network is enlisting Sportradar as a partner in the network’s latest digital platform enhancement. The final deal will include live scoring updates as well as real-time betting odds tracking.

Monumental will integrate real-time data feeds provided by Sportradar that will include the following league-wide data packages: NHL, NBA, WNBA, NBA G League, and AFL. Data packages include all scoring and box score data, as well as additional advanced statistics, for each game in each league. The network’s homepage will now boast an automated schedule with live scoring and automated league leader statistics. Separate team pages will delve into more in-depth advanced statistics.

A feed will also be procured to deliver real-time betting lines. Additionally, Sportradar will provide a functionality in the network’s platform that has the ability to hide betting-related content and materials in the event a user chooses to opt-out of gaming content.

“We are proud to launch this enhanced platform powered by Sportradar to cater to our data-savvy viewers as well as subscribers with an appetite for the new realm of online sports betting,” said Zach Leonsis, Senior Vice President of Strategic Initiatives at Monumental Sports & Entertainment. “Sportradar is the industry leader in both sports data and integrity services and we are thrilled to work closely with them as we continue to push the envelope as an all-encompassing source for sports in the Washington, D.C. region.”

Sportradar is the trusted partner to more than 65 leagues and federations across the globe, including the NBA, NHL, FIFA, UEFA, AFC, CONBEBOL, IIHF, and ICC.

“We are pleased to provide our leading global data services to Monumental for its latest digital platform enhancement,” said Brian Josephs, Vice President of Digital Sport at Sportradar. “Given the rich history of sports in this region, Monumental is taking an important step to ensuring that fans consistently have the most up-to-date data and remain engaged with their local teams for many years to come.”
