The Video Call Center Handles Audience Calls During Food Network’s Thanksgiving Live

Some of the Food Network’s biggest stars will take to the air live on November 23 to help viewers solve their Thanksgiving kitchen hurdles. This year’s installment of the popular Thanksgiving Live show is using the VCC’s video call based TV production platform to give audience members the opportunity to appear on-screen as they interact with the cast of culinary experts.

People are invited to sign up to participate in the event. During the event, callers will enter the VCC Caller Queue, a virtual green room that is custom-branded for the Food Network show. While there, built-in social amplification tools make it easy for participants to promote their appearance on their favorite social networks. Show producers have access to tools that let them identify callers and prioritize them for maximum on-air impact.

Preparing a Thanksgiving may be stressful, but participating is easy. Viewers will join the show using the native video calling capability of their device, no download needed! Prior to appearing on-air, VCC Call Producers will interact directly with participants via Caller Queue to prepare callers and ensure they look their best on camera.

Tune in on Saturday, November 23rd, from 11 am-1 pm EST to see live video call TV in action!
