Group One Limited Promotes Trisha Matulewicz to Chief Financial Officer

Group One Limited, the U.S. distributor for Avolites, Calrec, DiGiCo, KLANG, Solid State Logic, and several other premium professional audio and lighting manufacturers, has promoted Trisha Matulewicz to the newly-created position of Chief Financial Officer. The announcement comes from Group One CEO Jack Kelly, to whom she directly reports.

As of April 1, Matulewicz has stepped up to the new post from her previous role as Group One’s Financial Controller, a position she has held since joining the company nearly two years ago. Before coming to Group One, she served as the VP of Finance at NYC-based Medical Knowledge Group, a professional services organization specializing in medical communications, health care consulting and data analytics. Prior to that, Matulewicz spent time in public accounting where she managed audits of hedge funds, broker dealers and 401(k) plans.

“I’m very excited to see Group One into its next stage of growth,” Matulewicz enthuses. “I look forward to digitalizing some of our transactions to streamline tasks and improve efficiencies without compromising the strong ‘family’ culture that is the heart of this company’s operations. There is truly an abundance of experience and passion here, and it’s an honor to work with every member of the Group One and Audiotonix team.”

Matulewicz holds a Master’s of Business Administration degree from Baruch College’s Zicklin School of Business, as well as an undergraduate degree in Accounting and Marketing from Pace University in New York City.

“Over the past couple of years, in particular, Group One has undergone a significant transformation in terms of its ownership, personnel and the roster of brands that it now distributes and supports,” says Kelly. “Trisha intimately understands the unique cultures of our company and industry, and has been invaluable in helping us successfully scale our daily operations to match the unprecedented growth we’ve experienced since she joined us. I’m thrilled that she’s accepted our invitation to expand her role within Group One’s senior management team and we look forward to her continued financial guidance and savvy over the months and years to come.”
