SVG To Host 15th-Annual Sports Content Management Forum Virtually on July 28-29

SVG’s Sports Content Management Forum is back for its 15th year. To be held virtually on July 28 – 29, this event will include keynotes, panels, and presentations featuring media-asset–management (MAM) leaders from major sports broadcasters, leagues, teams, OTT outlets, esports organizations, and technology vendors. Developed by the SCM Advisory Committee and its Chairman Tab Butler, this year’s agenda will address the current state of MAM and orchestration, storage and archiving, cloud and virtualization, AI and machine learning, and more.

Topics will include the growing need for hybrid on-prem/cloud and multi-cloud ecosystems, the future of archives in relation to tapeless and LTO technologies, how next-gen technologies could impact multi-cloud environments, and the role of AI and ML in automated metadata assignment and content discovery. A pair of tech focus panels will also dive into the current state of MAM/orchestration tools and on-prem/cloud storage technologies.
