Cardinals TV Broadcast To Connect Live With Local Troops Deployed To The Middle East

The Cardinals and Bally Sports Midwest will connect local troops deployed overseas with fans at home during the Cardinals TV broadcast on Friday, July 15.

Bally Sports Salutes will feature Missouri and Kansas National Guard soldiers of the 35th Infantry Division, who are currently deployed to Kuwait. In addition, many of the soldiers’ family members will attend the game at Busch Stadium.

American troops throughout the world will watch the game live on American Forces Network. Coverage begins at 6:30 p.m. CT on Bally Sports Midwest – that’s 2:30 a.m. in the Middle East.

Dan McLaughlin and Brad Thompson will call the game, with Alexa Datt reporting and Scott Warmann, Al Hrabosky and Rick Ankiel hosting pregame and postgame coverage.

Bally Sports Salutes is presented in coordination with the Cardinals, Missouri National Guard and American Forces Network. This is the 13th Cardinals telecast to troops. July 15 is also the Cardinals’ Military Appreciation Theme Night at Busch Stadium. Fans who purchase a special theme ticket will receive an exclusive Cardinals cap celebrating their favorite brand of the military (cardinals.com/militarynight). A portion of each ticket purchased will be donated to USO Missouri.
