SVG PLAY: How Prime Video Leverages Zixi’s Zen Master Control Plane To Distribute Thousands of Soccer Matches

For the first time since prior to the COVID-19 outbreak, the SVG Sports Content Management Forum returned to New York City.  Hosted at The Westin New York at Times Square on July 27, the event brought together technological leaders from various networks and vendors for a day of networking, information exchange, and idea sharing all around topics like storage, archiving, metadata, and more.

With live sporting events returning to pre-pandemic numbers and content rights being acquired by next-generation platforms, Zixi has released new capabilities in its ZEN Master control plane to help customers dynamically manage the production and distribution.

In this case study presentation from the 2022 SVG Sports Content Management Forum, Zixi describes how one its major customers, Amazon Prime Video, is using these new capabilities to distribute thousands of soccer matches, with end-to-end control and visibility. The talk also describes how Zixi is providing powerful automation that deploys AWS infrastructure only when it’s needed and releases it after each event is completed to manage costs.
