Brian Huss Joins Buzzer as Vice President of Product

Buzzer announces that Brian Huss has joined the company as Vice President of Product. In his role, Huss will oversee the product strategy, development and ongoing growth of Buzzer’s direct-to-consumer platform as well as lead Buzzer’s existing team of product designers, managers, and researchers.

Huss joins Buzzer from FanDuel, where he most recently served as Vice President of Product and oversaw Daily Fantasy, Free to Play, and the newly released FanDuel Faceoff platform. Previously, Huss served as Senior Director of Growth & Innovation at NBA Digital where he led the development of free to play games as well as VR, AR, and voice products. Prior to his tenure at NBA Digital, Huss spent four years as a Senior Director at CBS Sports Digital, heading up the brand’s fantasy vertical and leading the relaunch of SportsLine as a subscription product centered on betting content and information. Huss has previously led teams creating innovative product experiences at Comedy Central, MTV, and AOL. He is also currently on the organizing committee for ProductATL, an Atlanta-based product management community that has over 1,000 members, and created a product mentoring program that pairs senior product professionals with industry newcomers.

Founded in 2020 and officially launched in October 2021, Buzzer’s mobile platform identifies, notifies and provides short-form access to the best moments in live sports – personalized based on each fan’s preferences and accessible through Credits or Apple and Google Play micropayments. Buzzer is currently available for download on iOS in the App Store and Android in the Google Play Store.
