Panasonic Connect Adds KAIROS Touch Control Panel Software Feature

Panasonic Connect announces the June 2023 release of a new Touch Control Panel Software for its KAIROS IT/IP platform, a live-video production and distribution system for professional use.

The touch control panel software option AT-SFTC10 (software key) enables the multi-viewer touch-panel control to be used for switching, macro, scene selection, clip playback and other operations in the KAIROS system. Touch operation is more intuitive than using buttons on the control panel (including software control panel), and even can be implemented with a touch-panel PC* without installing Kairos Creator. The AT-SFTC10 further expands the KAIROS multi-operation environment.

*The option supports Windows 10 or 11 but not Mac OS

KAIROS has been changing video shooting, creation and projection processes for live production and distribution. As an IT-based open-architecture platform, KAIROS allows users to synthesize as many scenes and layers as the GPU permits for expressive, low-latency production, free from the video-format and mix-effect limitations of conventional hardware. The IP-based interface flexibly handles diverse inputs and outputs, network transmission and remote production via the cloud. KAIROS enables professional live on-site broadcasting and distribution by small teams, without relay vehicles, and unconstrained by normal limits on remote resources as well as time and location.
