Mediapro Colombia Produces the Three Big Finals in Colombian Football in the Space of 72 Hours

Mediapro Colombia was responsible for the production of three big finals in Colombian football, the League and the Betplay Women’s League.

From Villavicencio, the provincial capital of Meta, they also provided production services for the final of Tournament between Llaneros and Patriotas Boyacá. Saturday was the turn of the big final of the Betplay League between Millonarios and Atlético Nacional. The match is considered the most important in Colombian football history as it brought together the two teams with the most league titles in Colombian football. The match took place in the ‘El Campín’ Stadium in Bogotá. Sunday saw GRUP MEDIAPRO providing broadcast coverage of the second leg of the final of the Women’s league between Santa Fe and América de Cali, which was played in the Nemesio Camacho Stadium in the Colombian capital.

For the production of the three matches, in fewer than 72 hours, Mediapro Colombia used more than 200 staff. In addition, as the country’s official provider of Video Assistant Referee (VAR) technology, GRUP MEDIAPRO set up the equipment for its use for the final of the Tournament and the Betplay League on Friday and Saturday, respectively.
