Cosm Debuts First-Ever UFC Fight in “Shared Reality” Ahead of UFC 291 in Salt Lake City

Cosm and UFC debuted the first-ever UFC fight in “Shared Reality” on Thursday, July 27, during an exclusive media showcase at the Cosm Experience Center in Salt Lake City ahead of UFC 291 which was held at the Delta Center on Saturday, July 29.

Media attending last week’s showcase were provided with the exclusive opportunity to experience Cosm’s immersive 8K UFC content on the Experience Center’s 65-foot diameter LED Dome which puts guests Octagon-side and bridges the virtual and physical worlds without the need for headsets or augmented devices.

Last week’s showcase followed Cosm and UFC’s announcement from April 2023 which unveiled a partnership between the two organizations that will see Cosm produce and present live UFC Pay-Per-View (PPV) events in immersive 8K at its forthcoming public venues set to open in Los Angeles (Spring 2024) and Dallas (Fall 2024). Once open, Cosm’s public venues will boast 87-foot diameter domes there are more than double the size of the current Experience Center dome in Salt Lake City.
