MLB Postseason 2023: ESPN’s Kevin Cleary on Handling the Logistical Puzzle of the Wild Card Round

ESPN closed out its 2023 MLB Wild Card coverage last night after all four teams finished off their respective series with sweeps in Game 2. With multiple games happening in different cities over two days, the network had to map out their truck deployments and try to figure out which venues would be in play before the end of the regular season.

Prior to Game 1 at Philadelphia’s Citizens Bank Park, ESPN’s Remote Operations Specialist Kevin Cleary spoke about mapping out their logistics plan, how their partnership with NEP Group made their job easier, the tech that was deployed at all four sites, and what it meant to the team to conclude their baseball productions for the year.
