GRUP MEDIAPRO to Produce all 32 Matches of the Copa Libertadores Femenina

GRUP MEDIAPRO is set to serve as host broadcaster for the 2023 Copa Libertadores Femenina, Latin America’s club football tournament organized by CONMEBOL, the South American Football Confederation.

Mediapro Colombia is responsible for producing and broadcasting all 32 games being held in Bogotá and Cali until October 21 and, in total, will produce more than 1,800 hours of live content. GRUP MEDIAPRO, a specialist in the production of major sporting events such as the Champions League finals or the Pan American and Parapan American Games, has organized a technical deployment and a team of over 100 broadcast professionals. The group have deployed two HD Outside Broadcast units, several fly away transmission systems and between 11 and 21 HD cameras, depending on the group stage of the match, not to mention a series of special cameras including several mini and super-slow-motion cameras.

This will be the first time GRUP MEDIAPRO acts as host broadcaster for the Copa Libertadores Femenina, even though the group has a curriculum producing competitions for the confederation, having produced for four consecutive Copa Libertadores Masculine and last year was responsible for the production and transmission of the Copa América Femenina. GRUP MEDIAPRO is also responsible for supplying video assistant referee (VAR) services to the confederation.
