DraftKings Appoints Marie Donoghue as Chief Business & Growth Officer and Newest Addition to Executive Leadership Team

DraftKings announces the appointment of Marie Donoghue as its new Chief Business & Growth Officer. In this strategic role, Donoghue’s leadership will be pivotal in driving DraftKings’ future growth as the company continues to explore opportunities to better serve its customers.

As Chief Business & Growth Officer, Donoghue will work closely with existing teams to uncover new, sustainable growth opportunities and further solidify DraftKings’ commitment to quality in product and customer experience. She will also be charged with spearheading various internal processes.

In Donoghue’s previous tenure as Vice President of Amazon’s U.S. Sports Content & Partnerships, her contributions were crucial in positioning Amazon and Prime Video as a major player in sports media rights. Notably, she led the acquisition and production of Prime Video’s Emmy Award-winning offering of Thursday Night Football, marking the NFL’s first all-streaming, season-long package.

Prior to her role at Amazon, Marie spent over 18 years at ESPN, culminating in her position as Executive Vice President of Global Business & Content Strategy. Her leadership extended to spearheading business affairs, business development, partnerships, and ESPN Films 30 For 30, and the creation of several award-winning digital properties.
