Van Wagner’s Bob Becker on Creating Content, Executing Gameday Production of Super Bowl LVIII

Super Bowl LVIII in Las Vegas was the National Football League’s biggest event of the year, but behind the scenes, Van Wagner was a critical cog in the gameday machine. Implementing ideas developed by the league and leveraging both pre-existing and temporarily installed technologies supplied by the crew at Allegiant Stadium, the in-venue juggernaut put together an experienced team to handle the last-minute adjustments and complex production elements that come with the most-watched televised sporting event.

At the 2024 SVG Venue Summit, Van Wagner’s President of Productions, Bob Becker, chatted about the preparation that goes into producing this massive event, rehearsing the show in a newer venue, and reflects on his team’s overall efforts in Las Vegas.
