APP Doubles Pro Pickleball Broadcast Coverage In 2024

The Association of Pickleball Players (APP) announces its most robust broadcast distribution schedule ever, bringing live coverage of all 2024 APP Tour and select APP Signature Events to national television in broadcast agreements with CBS Sports, ESPN and FOX Sports. The 2024 broadcast schedule features double the live coverage from 2023, with more than 40 hours of live pickleball action plus more than 200 hours of livestream coverage for three of the five competition days of every APP Tour event.

“The APP continues to cement itself as the premier pickleball organization in the nation, further demonstrated by our agreements with three major broadcast networks to give pickleball the national airtime it deserves,” says APP Chief Marketing Officer Tom Webb. “Our events are exciting, engaging and feature some of the world’s best talent. We’re excited to showcase these players and additional stories that exemplify what pickleball is all about. We’re grateful for the support from CBS Sports, ESPN and FOX Sports for providing the APP and the sport of pickleball with a platform to share these stories with the world.”

“We are proud to showcase the exciting play of APP’s biggest tournaments throughout the year,” says Dan Weinberg, CBS Sports executive vice president of programming. “CBS Sports is pleased to build upon our robust lineup of pickleball programming and bring the high level of competition to our audience.”

“Pickleball has captivated fans on ESPN, emerging as a standout addition to our sports lineup,” says Tim Bunnell, ESPN senior vice president of programming. “We’re committed to bringing the thrill of pickleball to fans everywhere with some of APP’s most exciting tournaments throughout the season.”

“FOX Sports is thrilled to once again bring the game of pickleball to their passionate fans this season,” says Daniela Jeffries, FOX Sports vice president of programming. “We look forward to working with the APP to continue to expand their audience and grow the sport this season.”
