Live From NCAA Men’s Final Four: Big East’s Dee Seymore, Danny LeMoine on Highlighting All Things UConn Men’s, Women’s Basketball

With technological innovation at its annual men’s basketball tournament at Madison Square Garden, last year’s winner of the National Championship n the University of Connecticut Huskies, and multiple programs that have garnered recognition for stellar play on the national stage, the Big East Conference is a formidable force in the Power Five discussion. The men’s team is on the hunt for back-to-back national titles against Purdue University on Monday night and the women’s squad made their 15th Final Four in the last 16 seasons of women’s college basketball. From a conference perspective, how do you provide equal coverage of both teams along with the other Big East representatives — No. 2 Marquette University and No. 3 Creighton University — that made the Big Dance?

At the 2024 NCAA Men’s Basketball Final Four in Glendale, we spoke with Big East Conference Director, Digital Media & Social Content, Dee Seymore, and Creative Services Coordinator Danny LeMoine to understand the conference’s strategy in Arizona and at the Women’s Final Four in Cleveland, the examples of content being created in partnership with the creative services department in Storrs, CT, how content has changed since last year at both tournaments, and how they’re simultanaeously covering the action that’s happening during the schedule of spring sports.
