FloSports Inks Multi-Year Rights Agreement With Wanda Diamond League For Track & Field Package

FloSports has signed a multi-year media rights agreement with the Wanda Diamond League that will give it access to many of the world’s top Track & Field events.

The agreement, brokered by Infront as the exclusive international media rights partner of the Wanda Diamond League, allows FloSports to stream and distribute all events live in the U.S. and its territories across its FloTrack channel starting in 2025 along with World Athletics Continental Tour Gold label events and World Athletics Indoor Tour Gold label events starting in 2024. These do not include domestic events held in the U.S.

The crown jewel of the agreement is the Wanda Diamond League, which currently hosts 15 of the best athletics meetings in the world with men and women competing in 16 of the sport’s primary disciplines. 32 Diamond League Champions are crowned annually through their accumulation of points at 14 events throughout the season, with the most successful in each discipline qualifying for the Diamond League Final at the end of the season, taking place in Zurich, Switzerland in 2025. Each Champion is awarded a prestigious “Diamond Trophy”, prize money and a wild card for the World Athletics Championships.

Petr Stastny, CEO of Wanda Diamond League says, “With FloSports, an innovative leader in digital sports broadcasting, we have a partner bringing the excitement and passion of the Diamond League to the U.S. audience. This partnership represents our shared commitment to elevating the profile of track and field, providing fans with unparalleled access to our premier series of events. As we continue to celebrate athletic excellence on the global stage, we look forward to inspiring new generations of athletes and fans through this dynamic collaboration.”

FloTrack is the voice of the Track & Field community, offering exclusive content and robust editorial coverage at the collegiate and professional level. Powered by its recent acquisition of the Track & Field Results Reporting System (TFRRS), the official home of NCAA track and field rankings and statistics, FloTrack provides an unrivaled depth of coverage for the nation’s top track and field events. In combination with FloSports’ MileSplit, the largest high school running network in the U.S., FloSports streams more than 500 events annually.

FloSports CEO Mark Floreani comments, “As a former track athlete, I founded FloSports to cover the sport that I loved so much. To now be the home for the world’s preeminent track and field events outside of the Olympics with Diamond League is near and dear to me. This partnership will solidify FloTrack as an essential destination for fans and a platform that can grow the sport through compelling storytelling and unmatched coverage.”

As part of the announcement, FloSports is elevating Ryan Fenton to the role of General Manager of Track & Field and Running for the company where he will oversee the Diamond League partnership among other Track & Field properties, driving the strategic direction, programming, and go-to-market strategy for the brand. Fenton, a former Clemson University track athlete, has held a variety of positions at FloSports over 16 years and played a critical role developing content and valuable business partnerships for FloTrack, while acting as the lead commentator and on-air talent for the brand. Fenton, who has managed the company’s international partnerships for nearly the past decade, led the negotiations with Infront for the Wanda Diamond League. He also played an integral role in the acquisition of both MileSplit and Direct Athletics, which provides event registration and event management services to nearly 5,000 events across the U.S. annually.
