Pankaj Kedia, Dolby Laboratories, Senior Director, Emerging Markets

Pankaj Kedia is the senior director for the Emerging Markets regions at Dolby Laboratories. Pankaj is responsible for establishing and growing Dolby’s business across various market segments including broadcast, PC, mobile, consumer electronics, and gaming across the regions comprising of South East Asia, Australia, New Zealand, Africa, the Middle East, and India.

Prior to joining Dolby Laboratories in 2009, Pankaj worked at Autodesk for 11 years, where he served as head of the Media and Entertainment business for China, India, and Southeast Asia.

Pankaj has worked in the media, entertainment, and visual computing industries for nearly two decades, holding a variety of key positions in management, sales, marketing, pre-sales, and solutions integration.

Ken Kerschbaumer, SVG, Co-Executive Director, Editorial Services

Ken Kerschbaumer is co-executive director of editorial services for the Sports Video Group and SVG Europe. He was a co-founder of SVG along with Paul Gallo and Marty Porter in 2005 and has been writing about how sports networks and leagues use video and audio technology to deliver a quality TV experience since 1991. Kerschbaumer began his career in 1991 at Television Broadcast magazine before joining Cahners where he was founding editor of Digital Broadcasting magazine. In 2000, he joined Broadcasting & Cable magazine as senior editor of technology where he covered all aspects of broadcasting, cable, and Internet content creation and distribution.

Jon Marquard, Janez Media, Principal and Founder

Jon Marquard heads up Janez Media, which is a specialist sports, digital, and media advisory practice. He has 20+ years of operational and strategic experience across digital, telco, pay TV, and FTA Television.

Janez Media is engaged by Optus to lead and advise on its exclusive content strategy and implementation. Optus is diversifying its services and increasingly acquiring exclusive sports and entertainment content to differentiate its services.

Tim Martin, Rugby Pass, Founder and CEO

Tim Martin has worked in the OTT space for five years and is the CEO of RugbyPass, a global online Rugby Network specializing in OTT broadcast. Previously, Martin founded Premier League Pass and PGA TOUR LIVE in New Zealand, which were sold to Spark NZ in 2015. Martin is based in Singapore.

RugbyPass, the home of live rugby in Asia, recently announced a landmark deal to provide exclusive coverage of the NatWest 6 Nations across 23 territories. The deal, following an agreement with international sports media rights agency MP & Silva, marks a significant milestone in the shift of major live rugby coverage away from terrestrial TV to “over-the-top” digital distribution. The deal also further enhances RugbyPass’ line-up which already includes Super Rugby, The Rugby Championship, Aviva Premiership, European Champions Cup, Top 14, Pro 14, and more.

Chris Wagner, NeuLion, EVP, Marketplace Strategy and Co-Founder

Chris Wagner has been a driving force in the technology industry and has worked closely with executives from many major corporations, as well as entrepreneurs who have relied on technology to support the growth of their businesses.

His current position as the executive vice president and co-founder of NeuLion targets the revolution currently underway as the television and internet video industries converge.

Wagner has held numerous executive positions in the technology sector. The growth of internet television on computers, tablets, mobile, and internet connected devices, has given him an opportunity to work closely with the largest brands in the sports and entertainment industry: the NFL, UFC, NBA, MLS, Univision Deportes, and many others.

Wagner has also worked with several private equity and venture capital firms as their chief executive officer, which includes Metiom, MetaMatrix, Exchange Applications, and Digital Harbor. Wagner has been on the Board of Directors for all of these companies.
