Qualcomm Confirms Flo-TV Exit Talks

EETimes.com reports from London that Qualcomm is in discussions over the future of Flo-TV, a live television service available on CDMA phones and enabled by the company’s MediaFLO technology. It had been reported previously that Qualcomm was considering a disposal or restructuring of its ownership of Flo-TV, which is 100 percent at present (see the EETimes.com report: Qualcomm brews plan to boost struggling lines).
