EAW Delivers Dynamic House Sound for Barclays Center and More

The Sports Video Group is pleased to welcome Eastern Acoustic Works (EAW) as a corporate sponsor. Since 1978, EAW loudspeaker systems have solved unsolvable problems for audio professionals working in concert touring, permanent installation, and portable A/V.

“We were looking for a way to showcase the many sports venues that feature EAW speakers, and SVG’s Venue Initiative offers a great platform for us,” says VP of Sales Rusty Waite. “With the Venue Technology Summit being at Barclays Center this year and the fact that EAW KF740s and SB1001 speakers are providing the house sound, it made sense to kick off our membership now.”

EAW engineers focus on total system design. Initially, that system was a single loudspeaker; over time, the total system has encompassed multi-enclosure arrays (KF850/Virtual Array Technology, 1987), digitally controlled arrays (KF900/Phased Point Source Technology, 1997), and ultimately all audio equipment and the venue it is in (EAW Resolution software, 2009).

In addition to providing research and development, engineering, support, and administration, EAW now manufactures all built-to-order products at its headquarters in Whitinsville, MA.
