SVG SportsTech On Demand: Panasonic's Harry Patel on Panasonic's Efforts to Enable New Remote Workflows via IP

In an effort to keep the broadcast-technology community informed this spring, throughout April, SVG is hosting a series of SportsTech On Demand video interviews with executives from the industry’s top technology vendors discussing their latest product releases and company news. Our Ken Kerschbaumer sat down with Harry Patel, engineering manager, Panasonic, about the company’s efforts.

The industry (and the country) is now delivering streaming content to customers at unprecedented levels. As the market leader in robotic and systems IP/IT technology, Panasonic is uniquely qualified to support “virtualized” content delivery. During this interview, Patel discusses key tools needed to ensure that all content, regardless of market, is captured and delivered in the highest quality with the lowest latency possible. Panasonic’s current and upcoming portfolio of cameras, switchers, and distribution in an IP/IT world provides broadcasters the proper tools to produce engaging content.
