SVG SportsTech On Demand: Quantum's Jamie Lerner Sounds Off on VirtualQ Event, ActiveScale Acquisition, and Power of NVMe

In an effort to keep the broadcast-technology community informed this spring, throughout April, SVG is hosting a series of SportsTech On Demand video interviews with executives from the industry’s top technology vendors discussing their latest product releases and company news. Our Jason Dachman sat down with Jamie Lerner, CEO, chairman, and president, Quantum, about the company’s efforts.

This year Quantum is hosting VirtualQ I NAB, an online gathering for customers and partners to learn the latest developments at Quantum. Over three days May 12-14 the company will unveil its latest production innovations and provide educational presentations. M&E subject matter experts will discuss big trends transforming the industry and Quantum technology partners will be focusing on ways to take video and rich media in bold new directions. In this interview Lerner discusses how Quantum and its partners are helping media customers work remotely during the pandemic, how Quantum’s ActiveScale object store system is enabling customers to create online content archives, previews Quantum’s latest NVMe high performance storage solutions for post-production.
